Description of The Village at Unity
Conveniently located on the Park Ridge Health Care Campus near the town of Greece, The Village at Unity is a unique collection of independent and assisted living services to seniors age 62 and older. We are proud to be the only retirement community in Greater Rochester to have a hospital located right next door.
The Village at Unity is operated by Unity Health System, which owns more than 70 medical facilities in Rochester and Monroe County. Unity Health was originally founded to meet the medical needs of the area's growing suburban population, and has evolved to offer so much more to Rochester residents.
Featured Amenities
Active retirees may choose from among the nearly 300 one- and two-bedroom apartments in The East Village and West Village neighborhoods. Apartments feature a full kitchen, in-home washer and dryer, central air, and a private, attached porch.
Seniors who need some additional support with life's daily activities enjoy life at The Hamlet, our assisted living neighborhood. The Hamlet's studio and one-bedroom apartment homes come equipped with wall-to-wall carpeting, a refrigerator and a microwave.
Available Services
At The Village at Unity, we encourage our residents to live life their way during their retirement years! We take care of the housekeeping,
meals, maintenance, transportation and more. This gives our residents more time to enjoy the local attractions and amenities of Rochester, as well as participate in one of our many daily activity programs.
In addition, assisted living residents enjoy the peace of mind of 24/7 staffing, with compassionate caregivers available to help with dressing, bathing, grooming, managing medications and other personal care duties. A nurse is also on staff to provide case management, oversee medications, and arrange doctors' appointments and other outside medical services.

My mother moved into The Village at Unity, and so far so good. They're very helpful and very nice. She has a 1-bedroom, they serve her meals, they provide transportation, and they've a number of activities. They have outings to different stores, different restaurants, they have schools come in and do shows, and they have music every week. They play cards, they have movies, and parties. They have a beauty salon, a library, a garden, exercise rooms, and a yoga studio.
