We chose Fleming Point for my father and he's very happy. They do have a lot of activities, the food is very good, he's very happy, and he gets 3 meals a day. His living area is not as spacious as I had hoped, but it's fine for him, and his bedroom is very spacious. The staff is very nice and very friendly. They have common sitting areas, common dining area, laundry area that tenants can use, and they have an area for pool table, and things like that.
We brought Dad back to where he was at Fleming Point. It's an independent living facility, but they also have the ability to take him into assisted living with aides if he needs it. He's good now and they seem to get the job done. He's happy there. It's a beautiful facility and very nicely appointed, and he likes the food there. They don't provide anything other than his meals. We have to hire our own aides to go in there to take care of him. They provide a cleaning service once a week. They claim that he could stay there right through hospice and that they have services that will come in and help take care of him right up until if he needed hospice, so we don't have to move him again, but you have to be able to pay for it.
Hi Rosemary, thanks for the 4 star review. We enjoy having him as a resident and are glad to hear he is doing well. If there is anything either of you need, please let us know! We would be more than willing to help.
Fleming Point was a beautiful place and the people were very friendly. It was a little higher priced than we thought that mom could afford and it was too far from her home. The rooms were very large and the place was very clean. When you walk into the lobby, there's a foyer, and it's absolutely stunning. It's beautiful. There were balconies and it's three levels looking down. It opens to a big dome at the top. There is plenty of natural sunlight and it's well decorated. They had a pool table and lots of visiting areas. They did have us stay for lunch. The dining room was gorgeous. The food was nicely presented, but the taste was just bland. The building looked well built and laid out nicely. They were strict in their dining hours and their hours that you were allowed to use the washing machine. There's a 45-minute window for you to go for a meal.
Hi Deborah, thanks for visiting us at Fleming Point! We were glad to have you and hope that you will call our community home soon. Please let us know if you have any further questions, we are more than happy to help!
Fleming Point was pretty big. It was more expensive than other places, but offered a lot more. The person who gave us the tour was very accommodating, friendly, gave a lot of feedback, and gave me a call back a day later to ask if I had any questions. They have a lot of activities, like going to a community center for swimming, exercising, and classes.
My father moved into Fleming Point. They serve three meals, they change his bed, do his linen, and provide towels and sheets. They also provide a life alert button. They offer transportation to his doctors' appointments.
My sister is at Fleming Point. It's a beautiful facility. The people are friendly. It's clean. I like everything about it. They have medication distribution and they have activities and meals. It's a very nice environment. However, the food is a little salty.
I think Fleming Point is a good place for my mother. She is there and she likes it a lot. I think it is good for her because she is clean, and she has what she needs. The people are nice. They have bingo, crafts, music, and games. The food is very good. There's breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The room is kept clean. They come in once a week and change her bed linens and her towels. They wash them, bring them back and put them on. Also they honor the spouses that served in Armed Forces by putting a picture on the wall, which is really a lovely tribute.
I visited Fleming Point and the area and the people were very nice. However, it was so expensive that you can't really afford to go there for more than a few years. The amenities were good and the rooms were nice. The person who gave me the tour was very nice and informative.
Fleming Point looked pretty standard. It it is a part of a chain, so you can visit any of their other facilities all over the country for 2 weeks without charge. All you would need to visit is to rent a car or fly out there. They showed me the different-sized rooms and some of the recreational things like playing cards. They have a really good chef there.
