I Visited This Community
I visited Brookdale East Side for my mom and I was very impressed with it. It was very down to earth and seemed to really care about the people. The woman that I dealt with was very friendly. We talked for a couple of hours. She was very perceptive to what I was looking for. I met a few staff members who showed me the different rooms for activities. It was a very nice place. They had a pet rabbit which people took care of. The rooms weren't huge but were a decent size. You could have your bed and dresses, and maybe a chair and table in there. It was comfortable, and there are private bathrooms attached to each room. They had bingo, movie night and entertainment.
