Description of Hudson Pointe at Riverdale Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation

Hudson Pointe at Riverdale Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is a skilled nursing center where seniors can get medical support, assisted living, memory care and rehab services. Compassionate and attentive caregivers, nurses and therapists are on staff to provide professional assistance to residents that range from various types of restorative therapies to tracheostomy, wound and cardiac care. All treatment is individualized and available 24 hours a day.

A beautiful outdoor garden is available for residents' relaxation and enjoyment, and seniors can also take advantage of an on-site beauty salon/barbershop, store and newspaper delivery service. An array of activities are scheduled, including daily exercise, outings, educational programs and arts and crafts.

Delicious meals are served three times a day, and a library/media room lets residents sit quietly with a book, watch a TV show with friends or spend time on the shared computer.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

We were not thrilled with Hudson Pointe at Riverdale Center. They did not really follow through at the end; it was difficult. We had two weeks that we were waiting to find home care, and their communication was terrible. Nobody was getting back to us. It was very nerve wrecking. There were some good things about it. Everybody knew everybody's name. The staff seemed fine. You felt like you were being cared for, but at the same, they would never get back to you. They would say that they were going to call you and they would never call you. I was pretty disappointed in the end by the way that they did not follow through.
