Description of McHarrie Pointe
Offering independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing and short-term rehab, McHarrie Pointe fully supports seniors, even if their needs and various levels of support change over time. Residents who require help with daily living tasks receive individualized help to suit their needs, while trained caregivers continue to foster independence. A 24-hour skilled nursing team provides health ncare to seniors in a homelike setting.
The living units are spacious and modern with luxurious tiled bathrooms. Residents have nutritious meals served to them restaurant-style in a bright, beautiful dining room that features a baby grand piano. Relaxing in one of the secure, enclosed courtyards and other outdoor spaces enables residents to get fresh air and socialize or relax.
The community has a full calendar of scheduled activities for seniors to participate in, such as yoga, Bible study, movies, shared storytime and happy hours on the patio.

I visited this facility
McHarrie Pointe is a beautiful location. It is considered our number 1 location for assisted living. It was summer when I filled out the application, and there was a six-month wait. It would be my first choice because it is probably a four-minute drive from my home, so it would be extremely convenient for me to have visit with my dad. They completely remodeled the place, so everything is new, clean and updated. Their dining room is beautiful. It is carpeted and it has nice small tables. There's also a baby grand piano in the dining room. When it comes to that time, McHarrie Pointe would be my first selection. I looked at one of the little apartments they had. It was nice because there was a kitchenette, a bedroom, and a bathroom; I was really impressed by that. In reference to the activities, I took their flyer. There were various activities with exercise, trips, and crafts. I didn't see a lot of staff members besides the person in the main office. The place in general is in beautiful condition.
