Casa de Shalom is nestled in a residential neighborhood of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, just north of Albuquerque. With abundant year-round sunshine, scenic vistas and more than 30 parks, Rio Rancho has plenty to offer for seniors. Meadowlark Senior Center, which has day trip opportunities, social activities and more, is only a mile away from Casa de Shalom.
Casa de Shalom is a licensed assisted living community that is staffed 24/7 and specializes in caring for seniors with memory impairments. All staff members are certified to assist residents with medications and a high staff to resident ratio of 1:5 allows for personalized care. Casa de Shalom is designed to help residents age in place. The home's registered nurse is an experienced provider of palliative and hospice care.
Residents are welcome to bring personal belongings to make their fully furnished rooms feel more like home. Shared spaces include a cozy living room and shady patio. Casa de Shalom's chef prepares nutritious meals for residents and can accommodate special dietary needs. Healthy snacks are available throughout the day. Residents can get haircuts, manicures and pedicures on-site. Rio Metro provides seniors with door-to-door transportation within Rio Rancho and Albuquerque.
