Description of Cardinal Village
When a little help is needed with daily living, Cardinal Village provides just the right amount in a safe and caring environment. The staff support allows residents the opportunity to live life to the fullest. Assistance with everyday tasks, making sure nutritional and medical needs are met, socialization and continuing hobbies and interests is our top priority.
In addition to Independent Living, Cardinal Village offers an Assisted Living Program with personalized care in homelike surroundings. Choose from one of the beautifully appointed, one- and two-bedroom garden setting apartments, each with a kitchenette and private bath. Residents stay connected to the outdoors with their own screened-in patio and area where they can plant flowers or vegetables and herbs each year.
Daily support services include 24-hour skilled nursing care, emergency call system, three delicious meals, housekeeping, social events and transportation. A physician's office, laboratory service, and physical, speech and occupational therapy facility are on-site. Cardinal Village communicates regularly with loved ones and health care professionals to ensure all needs are met.
Take what you love about independent living and you will find it at Cardinal Village. Leave the rest behind (snow shoveling, lawn mowing, repairs, cleaning!) and enjoy a carefree retirement without the responsibilities of being a homeowner. Cardinal Village offers Independent Living in spacious garden setting apartments and, if needed, an Assisted Living program with personalized care in a homelike environment.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My dad moved into Cardinal Village. I would highly recommend them. They were great. They worked with us on pricing, gave us the tour, and full brochures. They were excellent. I liked the care they offer, they have onsite doctors and nurses, and they seem to be involved with the residents; they knew most of them. They also have a lot of decent activities there. The staff is excellent. They took their time and spoke to us. They seem to know each one of their residents. When we were there they explained everything to us, and they've been very helpful. The apartment is nice. He's got a screened in patio, and he's got his own space. It is a very nice apartment. My father said he enjoyed the food very much. The facility was clean, spacious, and they seem to take a lot of interest in it. It was good.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
We chose Cardinal Village for my mom because of a prior experience with a different family member under independent living, as well as for their location, and having read reviews that were already posted. They have a lot of different activities. The place itself is welcoming and each apartment is left to the individual to fix it up, so we were able to make my mom's apartment very home-like.

I visited this facility
Cardinal Village was welcoming, homey, receptive, and it's definitely a place I felt comfortable with. It did not smell. They have respite care, the apartment was furnished, and you can use it to see if you like it as well, like a trial. Meals are provided. The admissions director went out of her way to be very helpful, very accommodating, very concerned, and I felt extremely comforted by her help, considerations, and suggestions. We were ready to move Dad there, but he wasn't ready yet.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
I moved my mother into Cardinal Village 4 weeks ago and my father last weekend. I am extremely happy and very impressed with the place. I highly recommend it. The staff is very caring, very informative, and they communicate well. The place is extremely clean. They look out for the residents' safety and welfare, they keep them busy all the time (not just sitting in their rooms), and they're well taken care of. My mother is back to enjoying life and being happy and she has made a remarkable improvement. There have been no issues.

I visited this facility
I would recommend Cardinal Village. I believe my mother-in-law could be happy there. The rooms were clean. The whole place was dated, but you pay for what you get. I think it's reasonably priced. From what I saw, the staff seemed very nice. The food looked good.
