The Woodlands is a beautifully restored Victorian-style home nestled in a tree-lined residential neighborhood of Glen Ridge, New Jersey. We offer comfort and security in a monitored home, providing senior living in the comforting atmosphere of a homelike bed and breakfast.

In 1998 a Victorian-style home, previously in a state of disrepair, was returned to its former glory and opened becoming the first of The Woodlands Properties. Since then, three other “monitored living” homes have been opened in neighboring cities, licensed by the New Jersey State Department of Community Affairs. Our friendly staff has fostered a welcoming environment and many residents continue to reside with us since our properties’ opening.

With beautiful hardwood floors and personal decorations, you’ll find yourself in a home with the welcoming touch of happy long-term staff and residents alike, creating a bed-and-breakfast-like feel.

Our staff prepares and serves three home-cooked meals per day in our elegant dining room. Both private and semi-private rooms are available for your choosing. With many large rooms with plentiful seating areas, residents can often be found socializing, engaged in games or other activities.
