I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My mother was in Life Care Center of Reno for 60 days. They're horrible and should be closed down. They did not follow their own admitting guideline and lost every single piece of laundry that was submitted to them, which were not found until five days later. They would not answer my mom's call button; therefore, she was yelling, "Help me, help me, help me," because she had to go to the bathroom. They didn't come, so for the whole time she was there, any night time that she had to urinate, she had no choice but to wet her bed. And because she was yelling, they misdiagnosed her and put her on a very dangerous drug that took 45 days to wean her off of per her regular physician. They let her oxygen run out, too. My mother wears a colostomy, and one night it got so full after her asking them to please change it, that it burst all over, and my mother got in trouble for it. They blamed it on her. When they did change her after the blow up, they didn't have any supply on hand, so they put the wrong bag on her. However, the physical therapy department was outstanding, but the nurses and the aides were bad. The food wasn't very good, the bedding was lousy, the showers were horrible, and the neglect was even worse.
