Our community offers a full range of lifestyle options, from independent living to memory care, so you are able to age in place without leaving your beloved home. We are located just minutes from downtown Omaha, the Westroads Mall, the Bluestem Prairie Reserve and several golf courses.

Esprit Whispering Ridge is a senior living community managed by Ecumen. At our communities throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin and Idaho, seniors and their families will find forward-thinking services that are driven by perpetual growth and innovation.

Featured Amenities

Our community features a number of apartment styles ranging from studios to spacious one- and two-bedrooms. Apartment features include a washer/dryer, a kitchenette or full kitchen, an emergency response system and spacious closets. Expansive windows let in plenty of light and provide views of the scenic grounds.

Every day Esprit Whispering Ridge residents benefit from three tasty home-cooked meals in our restaurant-style dining room. Common areas include a beauty salon/barber shop, library and theater room for residents to gather and socialize. Numerous daily activities are scheduled to keep residents active and engaged. There's always something fun to do!

Available Services

Our professional staff create the perfect living environment by handling the basics such as maintenance, housekeeping and laundry. Scheduled transportation is available to get you to doctor's appointments or local shopping trips throughout the week. Though, those with a car will certainly be able to keep their vehicle.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Esprit Whispering Ridge is probably the best place I could put my mother. She has a very nice and large one-bedroom apartment that has a den, a full kitchen, and a laundry room. I looked at several communities, and I didn't waste any time and took the room. The other places had smaller apartments without a full kitchen and cost $600-700 more a month. They have bingo, cards, entertainers, a bus that takes them shopping once a week, and a Catholic mass every Sunday. The meals are fantastic; I was there for Valentine's Day, and it was fabulous. They also have a community area with a full kitchen, and the residents come down and get involved in helping make things like cookies for bake sales. I think they are doing a great job. The place is very nice, very bright, open, and cheerful. The managers, director, nurses, and everybody were very helpful and will do everything they can to make your transition as comfortable as possible. They also have a memory wing and skilled nursing. The staff is very easy to talk to, nice, and accommodating.

I Visited This Facility

I came to visit and fell I love with Esprit. It has a very appealing atmosphere. Lots of activities going on and the food was amazing. We toured with the Executive Director named Yasmine. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. We are in the process of looking and have Esprit at the top of our list when we get to that place with our parents.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Diane is now at Esprit Whispering Ridge. The service is excellent and the staff is great. It's in a newer part of town which is very nice. The apartment is very spacious, clean, very nice, and updated. They also have a gym, a small movie theater, and a salon.

I visited this facility

Esprit was very nice and welcoming. It was more expensive than I had anticipated. The staff was very knowledgeable, very friendly, and seemed very professional and caring about what they're doing.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

This place is awful. I would never feel comfortable recommending this facility to anyone. I have a family member living there and they forget about him, do not give him the proper care, sometimes do not respond to his calls, and just do not care. The staff is unprofessional and obviously are just trying to get a paycheck. The fact that this facility is still in business is shocking to me.
