Holiday Brentwood Estates

We had a very good tour at Brentwood Estates. They did a very nice job. Their facilities and amenities are very clean and user-friendly. Its handicapped accessible, and it's not over-crowded and cramped. Their calendar of activities was satisfactory. They had openings for other things that could come in, but they also had a variety of things that residents could participate in. We didn't have lunch there, but we walked through the dining area, and it was nice. The rooms were very clean with fresh paint, and it was maintained very well. I'd rate the person who gave the tour a 5. I didn't see anything that really needed to be changed.

Brentwood Estates is nice and clean. We enjoyed it. They have a nice and congenial staff. They didn't rush us, and they answered all our questions. They told us what we could expect. The dining area looked good. They have a nice library too. They have all kinds of activities, and if you sign up and put in a large sum in advance, you can visit their locations all over the United States, which is nice.

My tour at Brentwood Estates was good. I talked to one resident there who was really happy. Brentwood Estates was the one I liked the best out of the three I saw. It had a lot of activities. They had church services and a lot of activities, so my mother-in-law wouldn't just be sitting alone in her small apartment all the time. If you have elderly people who are self-sufficient but slow or maybe need a little help getting in and out of vehicles, because they do take them on trips, Brentwood is good. It did not have a nursing home feel, but it had extra care available. However, if my mother-in-law would have gotten worse to where she was incontinent all the time or physically unable to even dress herself, then she would have to move out of Brentwood to another community. It's a really good place for extra help.

The experience at Brentwood Estates was lovely. The lady didn't take too long and she got us going on a tour. We were there probably for about 45 minutes before dinner time. We saw a couple of units and we saw the library, the kitchen, and some other spaces, too. They have a lot to offer there. They have a garden. It is a lovely facility, and it is tucked behind houses and villas where it is nice, safe, secure, and quiet. There are lots of trees out of the windows, and it is very close to the hospital, which is important. You can travel, which I like, and when you travel, they have a special room that you can use. She showed us the kind of room that we would have if we were traveling. In the studio apartment, she showed us a little kitchenette, a bed, a bath, and a closet. She also showed us an apartment that was available at the time, which was really nice. They're are also pet friendly, and they have a hot tub, too.

We visited Brentwood Estates, but I thought their apartments were small. There were some activities for the residents, but they were limited. They had a large dining area and the staff that I talked to was OK. The only thing I didn't care for was that there was no one available at the front desk 24/7. They have a library and also Wii bowling.
