Description of Project Caring
Project Caring is in a quiet rural community in West Lakeland Township, MN. The township has an idyllic setting on the west bank of St. Croix River, and it's minutes away from downtown Stillwater and a short drive from Saint Paul and Minneapolis.
Operating as a fully licensed assisted living facility, Project Caring provides personalized care in a small home-like setting. Care assessments are performed regularly by a registered nurse to ensure that the residents' care plans remain appropriate and are updated when necessary. A nurse liaison coordinates health care services with medical specialists, and the 24-hour staff may provide mobility and medication assistance.
The family atmosphere at Project Caring lets residents enjoy various activities and benefit from the comfortable amenities. Residents are served delicious balanced meals based on their needs. They can watch TV, read books, do puzzles, interact with visiting foster dogs and socialize with friends in the living room. Transportation is provided for outside activities, including exercise and therapy sessions, and visits to Stillwater Senior Center, Lake Elmo Regional Park and other interesting venues.
