Sunrise of Golden Valley is managed by Sunrise Senior Living. At Sunrise we strive for excellence, constantly seeking ways to improve the lives of our residents with the ultimate goal of maintaining their independence and dignity.

Featured Amenities

Our residents enjoy spacious private apartments with open floor plans. All units feature individually controlled heat and air conditioning, and are equipped with an emergency response system for added safety. Our residents can rest easy with trash removal, housekeeping and laundry service provided on a regular basis.

Our lovely outdoor grounds are meticulously landscaped with many benches, patios and beautiful gardens for residents to enjoy while relaxing and chatting with friends. Inside our building, residents can sip a cup of coffee at our bistro, lift weights in our fitness room or read a book in our library.

Available Services

Sunrise of Golden Valley offers a variety of services, including medication management, special diets, educational programs for residents and their family, and monthly wellness visits by our on-staff nurse.

I visited this facility

I was really impressed with Sunrise of Golden Valley. The first thing I saw when I walked in there was that they were very welcoming. They have a formal sitting area to the left, and the dining area to the right, and they have a real nice friendly dog. The immediately greet you once you come in, they're very friendly, and residents were socializing between themselves and with the staff. It was a very friendly and very safe area for somebody to be. We met the director there. His name is Dean Miller and he's a very nice gentleman. He gave us an overview of the place and gave us a tour, and we saw different aspects we haven't had before. One thing that he did that impressed my wife and I was that very few people come in there ahead of time to review the place and he thought that it was actually neat that we were doing this ahead of time. I liked the place a lot, even with the waiting list.

I visited this facility

Sunrise of Golden Valley was our top choice during our initial search. I liked the friendliness of it. The look inside is light and airy, and it was just a lovely place. There were lots of people around. There was a lovely area, like a cafe, where you can just stop and get food. When the family visits there's a section apart from the regular dining area. That area was really nice, but the studio we looked at was small for the price. The staff member we saw was really nice. He answered all sorts of questions that we never even had on our list to think about asking for. He was a good sales guy. They had a big park across the street. They're basically right off of 55, which is probably very convenient for many people, but their garden area was small.
