Description of Oakland View Senior Living

Oakland View Senior Living is located in the community of Oakland Township, Michigan. This suburb of Detroit is situated in northeast Oakland County, where seniors can enjoy a less hectic lifestyle with easy access to a variety of cultural, shopping and dining destinations nearby in the state's largest city.

Oakland View Senior Living is an assisted living facility. It offers private and semiprivate rooms for seniors who want to continue living independently, but need help with activities of daily living. A visiting nurse and on-call doctor are available when additional medical treatment is necessary, and the facility partners with podiatrists and occupational therapists to further ensure residents' ongoing physical wellness.

The facility is located on five acres of property, and residents can often watch deer and other wildlife roaming the grounds while gathered in the family-style dining room. All meals are prepared by the staff, and snacks provided as desired in between. Exercise and wellness activities are part of the daily curriculum, and residents can also enjoy bingo, puzzles and various card and board games.
