Description of Cranbrook Terrace
Cranbrook Terrace is a senior living community in Mt. Pleasant, located in Central Michigan. A portion of this city is situated within the Isabella Indian Reservation, the headquarters of the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Nation. Mt. Pleasant holds entertainment opportunities such as gaming and concerts at the Soaring Eagle Casino, nature parks, museums and art exhibits for seniors and the entire family. Arts and culture events include Art Walk Central in the summer and the Mt. Pleasant Christmas Celebration in the winter. Cranbrook is conveniently located close to Central Michigan Community Hospital and other medical providers, pharmacies, churches, shopping and public transportation.
Cranbook Terrace offers spacious, pet-friendly one- and two-bedroom apartments to independent adults aged 55 and older. Living options include ground floor and wheelchair accessible units. Registered nurses are on staff, and a visiting nurse is on call. The facility provides assisted lifts and single-person transfers up to 35 pounds.
Cranbrook's staff hosts stimulating activities and tasty, wholesome meals. Accessible outdoor common areas promote easy flow and movement for activities including picnics, BBQs and parties. Inside, residents can relax quietly and socialize with neighbors in the library or community room. Transportation services are available for a nominal cost, and the community offers a variety of off-site excursions.
