We already paid for Atria Park of Ann Arbor and moved our mom's things in. She will be in the assisted living section. I am duly impressed with the appearance. It's very nice. The food is really good and the staff has been there for years. They keep track of how many years each staff member has been there and they put that on their name plate. So they don't have a high turnover. They have pretty good sized rooms with good layouts. They have residents putting together puzzles and playing games, then they have people in physical therapy doing therapy, and other residents watch TV or just spend time outside. The staff members they have seem really good.
Everyone at Atria Park of Ann Arbor needed care of some kind and they had an Alzheimer's unit and nursing home care. It was a very nice and lovely place and the people were wonderful. The person I talked to was very nice and we had a long conversation.
Atria Park of Ann Arbor had a really nice walking trail and was very clean outside. The staff was very nice. The apartments were very nice and handicap accessible with roll-in showers. It was very expensive, though. If you can afford it, this is the place to go.
Atrium Park of Ann Arbor was very nice and the facilities were excellent, but the two-bedroom didn't have kitchen facilities and was basically just two bedrooms and a bathroom without a living area. The apartment was very small for a two-bedroom. You had very little casual living area like a living room, dining room, or where you can have TV or if you wanted to have dinner or something now. They provided food and everything. It’s designed for strictly assisted living. It was nice a facility, but I didn’t like the way the bedrooms were laid out.
My father is at Atria Park of Ann Arbor, and I highly recommend it. It’s a beautiful place with excellent rooms. Our experience has been excellent. My father was able to have a private room with a shared bathroom. They have a wonderful elevator. It makes him feel that he is not alone as they have different socialization plans. They are stimulating him socially, and we are so pleased with that.
I visited Atria Park at Ann Arbor. The facilities were nice and had activities. Everybody was very nice. The chef even prepared some fresh hummus and pitas to take with us. It was delicious, and I thought that was a very nice gesture. They were very warm and welcoming. The rooms were nice, and you could bring your own furniture. It was also quite costly.
The menu and the food at Atria Park of Ann Arbor were impressive. The chef came out and talked to my dad, and he liked the fact that you ordered food from a menu. The staff was very nice and very welcoming and had a nurse there that would check him. They had transportation to the VA if he needed it, plus laundry service, meals, and housekeeping. Of the ones that we’ve seen, he liked Atria the best.
Atria Park was a beautiful, big, clean facility with an excellent memory care unit upstairs. I was very pleased with that, but it was a little bit out of our way. I brought my uncle back for an evaluation with a registered nurse, and I found that to be very helpful. They decided that he can go ahead living in an assisted living instead of memory care. My tour was excellent. The staff both in the memory care and assisted living was excellent. They had activities going on for the memory care unit and a separate chef who can prepare meals for any situation.
