A seven acre wood, with a walking trail (complete with waterfall) leads to the Fitzgerald Lake Conservation area.The community centers on The Meeting House, which hosts movies, lectures, classes, concerts, and pot-luck suppers, and contains the community library, arts and crafts and fitness rooms. Housekeeping, meals and transportation services are available for a nominal fee, as is assistance from Lathrop Support Services.
