I visited this facility

Sunrise of Silver Spring was nice and the girl was very helpful. She showed me what the apartment would look like and how much it would cost. She even followed up with me about what I needed to do. They were playing cards, exercising, and going on walks, they had a movie day, and they played bingo. They have a library, an exercise room, and they even go on trips to theaters. They had everything my daughter-in-law would need to keep her busy and keep her interested. The staff was wonderful, very well educated, and organized. If ever I get in that position, it would be a place that I would like to go to.

I Visited This Facility

The staff we met with at Sunrise of Silver Spring was very nice and very professional. The facilities were well-maintained. The rooms were nice, but they were a little bit smaller. While we were there, there was a community meeting going on, so a lot of the residents were in the common room talking about community issues. The price was right in line with everybody else that we visited. I would definitely recommend it. It's worth looking at certainly.

Sunrise was very clean and very neat. I liked the rooms and the fact that they let you use the furniture in the room. The staff was pleasant. The location was very good, it was off the road in a quiet area with nice landscaping.

Sunrise of Silver Spring is an excellent, beautiful, spacious place but very expensive. Mom loved it and liked the decor. The rooms were very nice and very spacious. The staff was very well versed and excellent. The chef made some scones, and they were very good, but we didn't have lunch with them.

Sunrise of Silver Spring was very nice, well cared for, and had a lot of activities. The staff was nice, but they require a 14-day minimum stay, and I only needed five or six days. It was modern and had a nice dining room. It was basically a new place. The rooms were nice - one type was like an apartment and the other one was just a bath and a bedroom. They had card nights, activities at dinnertime, and workshops for men where they work in a garage. The food looked good.
