I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

My mother moved into Bay Square at Yarmouth. They have assisted living and memory care facility. She's in the memory care part. The general appearance is fine. They have it organized into two small pods where a limited number of residents live together in separate rooms, but have their own dining area. They also have access to the assisted living areas as long as they have a person with them, which was one of the things that I liked about it. One of the reasons why we moved my mother out of an assisted living facility to Bay Square is the greater level of staffing, so she gets a lot more attention and help. She has a very particular form of Alzheimer's that I'm finding most staff people are not familiar with and so it's difficult for my mother to find activities that meet her needs because she's slowly going functionally blind. They do arts, have people read books to them, watch TV and movies, and walk around the facility.
