Located amidst the pristine coastal New England Beauty, overlooking Frenchman Bay in Bar Harbor Maine, Birch Bay Village offers a range of senior living options. The Inn provides elegant and comfortable independent living, while our Residential Care neighborhood provides assisted living and finally you'll find Safe Harbor, our memory care community for those who struggle with Alzheimer's and related dementia.
Featured Amenities
Our community offers a variety of private and semi-private studio and one-bedroom apartments. Additionally we offer a number of single-level two-bedroom cottages for those looking for their perfect Coastal Maine home with access to the Inn's amenities. Apartment comes complete with comfortable wall-to-wall carpeting, window treatments, a kitchen or kitchenette and a private bathroom.
Every day, Birch Bay Retirement Village prepares three nutritious home-cooked meals in our dining room. Our staff prepares a calendar full of events each month, including exercise classes, outings, educational opportunities and other social engagements.
Available Services
Our helpful staff handles the basics such as maintenance, housekeeping services and we can even take care of the laundry and linens. Utilities with the exception of cable and telephone service is also included in your monthly rates. Scheduled transportation is available to get you to doctor's appointments or even local shopping trips throughout the week.
At Birch Bay Retirement Village, we are focused on providing wellness solutions to our residents so they can thrive and live a full life throughout their retirement. We craft a care plan for each resident in Residential Care, and our caregivers are there to assist with activities of daily living such as mobility, grooming, bathing, and medication management. With 24-hour staff and an emergency response system we will be there to respond to any resident needs or concerns.
