Spacious and smartly designed is how we describe the homes at our community. You can choose from a variety of floor plans including one- and two-bedroom apartments or two- and three-bedroom cottages. Your new home has all the standard features of a home with fully equipped kitchens and a washer/dryer but without the hassle of upkeep and bill paying, as your monthly rent includes all utilities and maintenance.

Even though you can prepare meals in the comfort of your own home, for those days when you don't want to do dishes, we offer a flexible dining plan where you can choose to dine in the community dining room or drop by the on-site tavern for game night. Other services that will make your life even easier include housekeeping services every other week and scheduled transportation.

I am/was a resident of this facility
I lived in the Veranda for a few months. It's a beautiful place, the staff was really helpful, the meals were like going to a restaurant, and they had a lot of amenities and perks. They have a swimming pool, a trainer, a spa, a TV room, beauty shop, and they have little buses that take you to doctors' appointments. We all had life alerts, they bring your meal to your room if you're unable to come to the dining room, and they had maid service once a week. The food was very good with a good bit of variety, and you could choose off a menu. The apartments were beautiful and they even had balconies. It was really nice.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
The staff at The Verandah is very friendly. Everything is clean. The grounds are real nice with flowers and plants. The staff is very nice and helpful. I like the food and its presentation; it's very nice. They have restaurants, swimming pool, a spa, a gym, hair salon, a movie theater, and they always have a bunch of activities going on.

I visited this facility
The Verandah had nice apartments and services. You need a non-refundable $5,000 just to get in the door plus your rent. Paying an additional $15,000 would reduce your payment down to $500 a month, and this seemed OK. However, after one year the rent will go up from 1 to %, and you do not know exactly what you're walking into. They have everything there, they have a place for painting, exercising, an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, and they have a place for fishing. It was all very well kept and very clean. My only complaint was not knowing where the money was going to be in a year, and most senior citizens live on a budget.
