Description of Village Shalom
Village Shalom is a true CCRC with facilities dedicated to all stages of the aging process. Our beautiful independent living option, The Villas, offers maintenance-free living in attached and free-standing homes with lawns and attached garages. Our assisted living apartments offer that same independence with the peace of mind of having a 24-hour nursing staff on hand. The Shalom Suites for Memory Care offer the area's finest programs for residents with Alzheimer's and other dementia-related disease. Our Health Centers offer long-term skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation in a modern, predominantly private room environment. On-site therapy and adult day care services are available along with a myriad of amenities like our Spa & Wellness Center, Rachel's Café and the Epsten Gallery, home to the Kansas City Jewish Museum of Contemporary Art.
