Nestled in the heart of the small town of Pocahontas, Arlington Place of Pocahontas is an assisted living and memory care community that takes pride in serving Iowa seniors with respect and dignity. We are centrally located near local parks, shopping, restaurants and Pocahontas Community Hospital.
Arlington Place of Pocahontas is managed by Senior Housing Management, a professional real estate management firm based in Cedar Rapids. Every individual at a Senior Housing community enjoys the appreciation and value of our signature Red Carpet Treatment.
Featured Amenities
The accommodations at Arlington Place of Pocahontas are not like those found at a traditional assisted living community. Our spacious one- and two-bedroom apartment homes feature private bathrooms, wall-to-wall carpeting, in-suite climate control and fully equipped kitchens complete with refrigerator, dishwasher, stove and garbage disposal.
Residents are encouraged to actively engage with our community through our popular activity program. Often held in our dedicated activity area or other communal living spaces, daily events include exercise classes, card games, and arts and crafts. Regular trips to retail shops and nearby casinos are also scheduled.
Available Services
For one affordable monthly fee, residents of Arlington Place of Pocahontas enjoy personal care services, life enrichment programming, three restaurant-style meals per day in our community dining room, private transportation to medical appointments and community-sponsored events and all utilities except for telephone service.
To ensure that help is always available when needed, our professional staff are on site 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our caregivers are ready and able to assist with life's daily activities including medication management, diabetes care and personal tasks such as bathing, grooming and dressing. A Registered Nurse develops and oversees all personal care plans and is always on call in case of emergency.

- Special Comment: Nestled on the edge of town in a quiet area. We have a very spacious backyard, with raised flower beds. A small creek runs along the edge of the back yard. Many different wild life have been known to walk through the yard, such as Canadian Geese, Deer, and a small Otter who came to sit on our back patio.
