Situated on 5.7 acres of landscaped grounds in the heart of Iowa, Sunset Park Place provides an inviting setting in which to experience the best of independent living, assisted living and memory care. Our location in Dubuque puts residents only a short distance away from a number of local amenities, including shopping spots, restaurant options and medical services.

Sunset Park Place is managed by Senior Housing Management, a professional real estate management firm based in Cedar Rapids. Every individual at a Senior Housing community enjoys the appreciation and value of our signature Red Carpet Treatment.

Featured Amenities

Residents of our community select their accommodations from a variety of options that range from inviting studio apartments to one- and two-bedroom units, and even town homes. Most accommodations feature full-kitchens, and our town homes come standard with remote-entry, single-car garages. All residences are outfitted with a 24-hour emergency call system for added peace of mind.

Seniors residing here at Sunset Park Place have the opportunity to take part in daily exercise classes, music concerts, shopping trips, religious services and more. A selection of everyday items can be found in our general store, and a wide variety of reading material is available in our community library. Residents who desire to take an active part in their well-being can take advantage of our on-site exercise and therapy room.

Available Services

Salon and barber services are offered right on site, so getting a perm or trim is as easy as walking down the hall. Housekeeping services are available for all residences, as are laundry and linen services. As needed, we are happy to provide scheduled transportation for residents to reach medical appointments.

Seniors facing the challenge of dementia reside in the Weland Gardens memory care portion of our community. Here, services are provided by compassionate trained staff members in a secure setting that features an enclosed courtyard, flower and vegetable garden.
