Description of The Rose of Ames
The Rose of Ames is an assisted living facility located in the city of Ames, Iowa. Just 30 miles from the capital city of Des Moines, residents can enjoy the best of both worlds. A variety of convenient amenities, including restaurants and shopping centers, are situated near the facility.
The Rome of Ames strives to provide affordable, assisted living. Residents can enjoy independence in private one- or two-bedroom apartments while maintaining access to health services, such as grooming assistance and medication management. Services are provided as needed, and all residents follow a personalized care plan based on initial health assessments and regular monitoring. Residents are encouraged to participate in group exercise sessions and wellness education programs to maintain physical and cognitive health.
A range of activities and classes are offered on-site so residents can stay entertained while developing new hobbies. Movie nights, gardening and computer classes are just a few of the amenities available. There are plenty of places to relax and socialize inside the facility, such as the theater, central dining room and library. Residents interested in exploring the surrounding areas can attend community outings with staff members and other residents.
