North Woods Village at Edison Lakes takes a personalized approach to memory care through our signature NEW DIRECTIONS® program. Our resident-centered assisted living services are tailored specifically to meet the unique needs of those with Alzheimer's disease, dementia or related memory impairments.
North Woods Village at Edison Lakes is one of several communities owned and manged by True North Group LLC. Drawing upon our significant experience in the senior living and memory care industry, we are building memory care communities that provide enriching lifestyles for our residents.

North Woods Village at Edison Lakes was designed with the intention and purpose to look and feel like home; it is arranged into three separate, secure neighborhoods. We offer a number of studio suite options with a private or semiprivate option. Each suite has a private bathroom and walk-in shower with a view of either the woods or courtyard.
First and foremost, North Woods Village at Edison Lakes is an active community with a packed schedule of stimulating and engaging activity options geared to ensure ample opportunities for each resident. Activities include book club, bingo, fitter sitter and religious services. Freshly prepared meals are served in a welcoming community dining room, and snacks and refreshments are always available.
Available Services
We are committed to ensuring that our residents are safe at all times. Not only do we offer an emergency response system, but our compassionate caregivers and modern technology blend seamlessly to create a safe and supportive environment. We employ resident locator technology in addition to passive motion sensors so staff always know where residents are.
We will create a care plan, tailored to proactively assist residents with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, toileting, medication management or mobility help. Furthermore, licensed nurses are available on site seven days a week to respond to resident and family concerns and manage care.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My mother-in-law lived at North Woods for a short time before she passed. There really weren't activities that she could participate in because she was too advanced, and it was a total memory care facility. The service was good. I think it could have been a little bit better. They didn't offer one-on-one services unless you pay extra. The place was clean and well-maintained. They have very good staff. It depends on the level of memory care and how advanced the individual, because if they're too far advanced it's hard for them to adjust, no matter how good the facility is. However, the staff was very on the ball and was aware when she started to progress and go down. We were notified immediately, and they stayed with us throughout my mother-in-law's last days. So that was excellent. I would highly recommend them. If a person is going to move in and their memory problem is not quite advanced and they can adjust, they will do very well. They offer quite a few activities.
