Our Jeffersonville, Indiana, assisted living and memory care community offers a number of studio and one-bedroom apartment homes that provide plenty of space to entertain family and friends. Residents are warmhearted, interesting people who enjoy the freedom of assisted living – freedom from the worries of solitary living and cooking and cleaning – in surroundings that are kind and gracious with the knowledge of knowing someone is always at hand if help is needed. Our residents enjoy our homey, country setting with beautifully manicured grounds, a landscaped courtyard and full calendar of activities and social programs yet can escape to nearby downtown Louisville, Kentucky, and all of its shopping, dining and entertainment options. Be assured that Riverbend provides the quality care that will allow residents to remain as self-reliant as possible while living in a supportive environment.
Featured Amenities
Riverbend features studio and one-bedroom floor plans with amenities that allow our residents to focus on living life to the fullest. All of our apartments feature walk-in showers and assist railings for safety along with emergency response systems, call buttons, smoke alarms and sprinklers. Mini blinds on all windows provide privacy, while walk-in closets and cable TV access offer the comforts of home. Some of our assisted living apartments sport patios where residents can soak in the sun or read a good book. The memory care apartments encircle a large, secured, outdoor courtyard, with each boasting a memory box on the outside to remind residents of where they live.
Available Services
Our knowledgeable and courteous staff members tailor care plans to individual resident needs with services ranging from medication administration to escort and transfer assistance and incontinence care. Depending on the level of care needed, bathing, dressing and grooming assistance also are available. Residents have 24-hour access to licensed nurses.

I visited this facility
Riverbend looked very dated to me. It definitely needed deep cleaning. The dining facility was tired. The lady who walked us through was not prepared to answer any questions that my sister and I had. It was not a good experience and not a good environment. It felt like a nursing home. They had a few positive aspects of what they do like the lady who had lived there for the last 12 years. The carpet in the room they took us to was ripped off the floor, and there were mouse droppings where the refrigerator used to be. It was not good. I wouldn't put my mother there.
