Crestwood Village West was OK. I moved in and it's clean. The staff is excellent and I've had no problems. However, I have a one-bedroom apartment, and it's too small. The exercise area is really nice, I'm in independent living, and there's a patio and courtyard.
My grandmother used to live in the independent side of Crestwood Village West, and she moved away because she hated it. We have gone back to check out the assisted living side. Crestwood is the worst; I know my grandma always had problems when she was living there. Theyre not very accommodating, and they dont want to change the carpet when people move out, they only want to do it after a couple years. I think thats disgusting, thats something youre supposed to do when you have new tenants. They also dont want to show people rooms, you have to make a big commitment and put down a deposit before you can see the actual apartment. Its cheaper than the other places though. If you are paying for the assisted living there, your meals are included. But if not, you can still go to the cafeteria and just pay for the meal tickets. They have places where you can go with your family; if Im not mistaken, they also had a physical therapy place if your insurance covers that. And they also have a bus that comes and takes the residents out to places. My grandma didnt complain about the food. The room that they showed us was clean, but when my grandma lived there for 9 year, she always had bed bugs, roaches or something.
Crestwood Village West was pretty good. All I've seen was the size of the room. They had furniture in that room, but they're using it for storage. They were remodeling it. The lady in-charge was pretty nice. The layout was okay. I would like to go there. I just don't have the money to go. It's a good location.
Crestwood Village West's rooms are excellent. I fell in love with both the studio and 1-bedroom because it had major closet and storage space. They have television sitting rooms and a dining hall. It's a very nice and clean facility. The girl who showed me around was more than helpful. I loved the facility, the building, and the way it was laid out. It was pretty subdued as far as access to traffic.
Thank you, Sharon, for taking the time to review our community. We are pleased to hear that you had a good experience at Crestwood Village West.
Crestwood Village West had very nice people and very nice facilities that we were interested in. It was a larger community that seemed to be well-run with good staff. They showed me one of the rooms, which was very nice. I'm impressed with them in terms of their facilities and capabilities. The only issue was that they didn't accept any of the Medicaid payments for the rooms. The person who gave me the tour and answered my questions was also good.
Thank you for sharing, Terry. Although our apartment homes are paid for privately, we are able to work with a home care company that can provide services within the apartment under Medicaid Waiver. If that is something we can help you with, please feel free to contact us.
