Description of Harvester Place
Relinquishing the care of a loved one with Alzheimer's or dementia can be difficult, and we at Harvester Place understand how tough a choice this is for families. That's why we have created a community where your loved ones are welcomed with open arms and cared for with warmth and expertise. Our philosophy that everyone deserved to be protected, engaged and loved guides every decision we make when caring for our residents.
Harvester Place is one of many Anthem Memory Care communities located in Colorado, California and Illinois. By specializing in providing care for seniors afflicted with Alzheimer's and dementia, Anthem Memory Care can design communities that address the needs of these seniors to ensure they live a life worth living.
Featured Amenities
We create days filled with engagement and activity, which are customized to the interests of each resident. Regularly scheduled outings to local area attractions allow our residents to reconnect with the enjoyment of visiting new places. Pet visits and gardening activities are other activities that residents look forward to and which liven up each day.
Mealtimes are another part of the day where residents come together to share delicious, well-balanced meals. When we celebrate a holiday or special occasion, the community dining rooms are decorated to add to the festive nature found throughout the community. And families are always welcome to join us for a meal.
Available Services
All the suites at Harvester Place are designed to create a comfortable living space for our residents. Families can choose from a private or companion suite, which also have a private or shared bath option. Windows provide views of the beautifully manicured and maintained landscaping throughout the community. Housekeeping and laundry services keep the suite tidy and ensure that clean clothes are always available.
When joining our community, residents receive an individual service plan that is based upon their life history and care needs. These plans are updated regularly to ensure we are providing the level of care needed. Our dedication to care continues by only hiring staff who are specifically trained in dementia care.

Mom is in Harvester Place. They were excellent in terms of the facility and staff, and Mom is very happy there. Everybody from the director down is very kind. Mom's picky, but she thinks the food is wonderful.

I visited this facility
Harvester Place is relatively new, but I liked what I saw. Everything seemed very nice. The room was very clean and very new. I have a very favorable impression of this place. Everybody seemed friendly and nice. They gave a good impression too.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
Harvester Place is an excellent place, and we are very pleased with it. They are giving wonderful care, above and beyond. The staff has been very amazing and very attentive to my mom. They have physical activities, music, cooking classes, memory games, and peer groups. My mother is in a shared room and it is very big, very nice, and very clean.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My mom has been at the Harvester Place for a few weeks now. She has had a couple of issues, but she is settling in. The place is clean, fairly new, and very nice. However, it's a lot of money per month. I didn't see many activities when I was there because they were preparing for a meal. The dining area seemed to be clean, brightly lit, and cheerful.

We understand the cost of care can be concerning, but know that the quality of care is most important and peace of mind that your loved one is safe 24/7 is our top priority.
I am sorry you missed any of our Life Engagement programming. It is designed specifically for those living with dementia and can be quite an eye opening experience when a loved one who hasn't spoken or responded to traditional stimuli reacts and recovers a memory or emotion.
