St. Paul's Home for the Aged began its service to the community in 1926 and continues today as a faith-based, not-for-profit community. St. Paul's Home is licensed by the state of Illinois and certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services as a Title XVIII (Medicare) and Title XIX (Medicaid) provider. The community is sponsored by the United Church of Christ and governed by a board of directors comprised of individuals from the congregation of St. Paul's Church, Christ Church, Trinity Church, and the local community. St. Andrew's Management Services, an eldercare specialist organization, manages this not-for-profit, faith-based community under the governance of the St. Paul's Home Board of Directors. St. Paul's Home has a financial assistance program which is available to qualified applicants.
