As Savannah's premier retirement community, Savannah Square offers full-service senior living on 17 wooded acres with the grace and charm of the Old South. For more than 20 years, we have provided Savannah seniors with a range of retirement living options including independent living, assisted living and nursing care.
Savannah Square is managed by Five Star Senior Living. Five Star is a healthcare and senior living services provider that operates independent and assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation hospitals, institutional pharmacies and outpatient health rehabilitation clinics throughout 30 states.

To best meet the varied needs of our many residents, accommodations are available in several desirable options: stand-alone, cottage-style homes for the active retiree, apartment-style living for seniors who need less space and/or require assisted living support, and private or semi-private skilled nursing rooms at The Health Center at Savannah Square.
In addition to our deluxe accommodations, our community features a fitness studio, billiards table, library, chapel and hair salon for the enjoyment of our residents. Gourmet meals are also served daily in one of our five formal dining rooms.
Available Services
For added comfort and convenience, our staff provide weekly housekeeping, linen service, groundskeeping, scheduled local transportation and round-the-clock gated security including 24-hour emergency response. Caregiving staff are always available on site to lend an extra helping hand to residents in our assisted living program.
Residents who require skilled nursing, either long- or short-term, receive 24-hour care from our team of medical professionals. We provide restorative care, pharmacy services and physical, occupational and speech therapy on site, and can coordinate medical services with personal physicians.

I visited this facility
I visited Savannah Square. It was well taken care of, well-manicured, and seemed to be organized. The people there knew about the place, knew the people by name, the menu seemed to be good, and the living quarters seemed nice and well-kept. They have lots of activities, and they gave me a list. The staff who showed us around was very lovely, approachable, informative, seemed caring, and knowledgeable. They showed me a cottage, a 1-bedroom, and a 2-bedroom, which was set apart from the main building. The green space was very nice.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
Savannah Square is a fairly new place and is well-kept. My mother has a nice-sized apartment. There are activities and I'm told that the food is good. They serve three meals a day six days a week. They play Bingo, and they go out once a week to different restaurants or on excursions. They also do arts and crafts, and there's a social hour three nights a week.

I visited this facility
I visited Savannah Square. The apartments were large. They had three different levels which was nice, and everything looked pretty well cared for. We ate lunch there, and the food wasn't very good.
