Holiday Washington Commons

I visited Washington Commons. I like that it's located way off from a busy street, it's somewhat hidden away and quiet. It's convenient too when it comes to grocery stores and those kinds of things. They're independent living but they also have access to information for assisted living if you need it. They serve three meals a day for the residents, and they gave me a list with activities that they can do, which is a lot. The person who gave me the tour was OK, although he's brand new to the community.

Washington Commons was very nice. The staff was full of knowledge and very caring. I enjoyed the visit. The facility location is nice and the grounds were kept up excellent. The facility is very clean and the rooms were nice and clean. They're very active with their seniors and their amenities were above and beyond. The price was very affordable for what you're getting compared to others.

Washington Commons was very nice, and I liked it. The staff had done everything that they were supposed to do. They were very friendly and very knowledgeable. They had an exercise room, a beauty salon, and activities.

Washington Commons was amazing. I was very impressed with the security, the grounds, the people who worked there, the rooms, amenities, and activities. They were in the process of establishing a garden out back, and that would be what my father-in-law would be interested in. I liked the atmosphere and the dining area. The room had a balcony where my father-in-law could put some plants. It was a perfect size for one person.

Washington Commons was wonderful and looked very friendly. The rooms were small, but the staff was very nice. The dining area was excellent.

We found Washington Commons to be very nice. It's probably where we are going to go with. It seemed to be a very comfortable place. The residents seemed very comfortable and happy there. The staff members were very nice and very accommodating. The dining area looked very clean. The residents were eating while we were there, and they served them restaurant style. They came to the table and took their order. Everybody was happy, which was a good sign. We saw one of the apartments, the theater area, the activities room, and the area where they play cards and read books. The area where they watch movies has recently been re-done, and it looked very nice.

Washington Commons was extremely nice. They seem to be able to address the needs of their residents. When moving in, there is a community one-time fee in addition to your deposit, which is a thousand dollars, and I just wasn't satisfied with that. Everything was nice. The staff who toured me around was wonderful. They were doing some repairs.

I'm planning to move to Washington Commons. It was very nice, not upscale, but small for the price they're asking, and very expensive. The staff was very knowledgeable, showed us all the amenities, and treated us to lunch. The food was excellent. There was caroling, they played trivia during lunch, and they were going to a ball game that night. It was a very nice visit.

I liked the tour at Washington Commons. I would rather be at their cottages since it’s also less expensive than the main building. When you go to eat your meals, you have to cross the patio. If you can’t go to the building, they’ll bring your food to you. They have two plans; one increases along with everything else depending on how much time you spend there, or you can take a six-plan that starts at a price that’s a little higher but never goes up. I spoke to the people that have stayed there who said they enjoyed the meals.

Washington Commons' rooms were nice, but I wanted a two-bedroom and a kitchen. They don't have kitchens there. They looked like they had a lot for people to interact with, movies, games, knitting, and stuff like that. They told me they had entertainment come in on occasions and that was a good part. The guy took me around and showed me the apartments and stuff. He was very informative and good.

My friend has settled in at Washington Commons. The food was lousy, and it's overpriced for what you get. She doesn't like it there, but she is staying anyway. There isn't any place better around in this local area that does what they do. It's not worth what she is paying for, but that's what it is. She moved in on the 1st of August. My friend's apartment was too small, so she moved now to a larger area. She had a 2-room then, which was just too crowded and she was stumbling over furniture. Now, she got a 2-bedroom apartment and it's a lot bigger. It has a living room, a kitchen, 2-bedrooms and 2-baths. They had activities when there's no Covid around, but right now, there's nothing. When my friend was in the main building, they delivered the food to their rooms, but by the time they got it, it's cold. It's not nutritionally sound, and the quantity was very small. I looked at it and I wouldn't eat it. Now, she has moved into this other apartment that is outside the main building, but they do not supply any food over there. She has to take care of her own food. The staff members are friendly, but they couldn't satisfy her needs.
