Spring Haven Retirement looked very pleasant. The staff was very friendly, and residents seemed content. I have a relative who has been there for a little over a year, and he's quite happy. They are doing some renovations. It's an old facility, and I smelled some mold as we were walking through the construction areas.

Spring Haven Retirement is a beautiful place. They had accommodations for two bedrooms. The staff during the tour was fine. The facilities were very nice. They have a computer area, games, and puzzles. The dining area was very nice and very clean.

We would not be interested at all in Spring Haven Retirement because the rooms were more like a remodeled motel. You go down the hallway and then go into the room, and we don't really want something like that. The apartments were not handicap accessible and the meal wasn't all that great. I wasn't impressed at all. The staff was nice. You could get bigger than just a studio. They had good activities posted on their board.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

My friend moved into Spring Haven Retirement Independent Living, and it's very nice and everything we wanted for her. She's very happy there. Her room is spacious enough. They have a calendar of activities, where she picks and chooses what she wants to do for the day. The food is very good, and they have good choices. They have a library, hairdresser, activity room, swimming pool, and jacuzzi.

Spring Haven Retirement is very nice. It is one of the cleaner ones that I visited. I like everything. I would probably pick them. They serve three meals, have a pool, and play Wii in a room. The staff member was excellent. I am quite pleased with the community. I heard other people that had been there liked it, too. They're doing a good job taking care of the old people.

Spring Haven Retirement was an older place, but they were remodeling the inside when I was there. I saw a 2-bedroom apartment, which was nice, and it was an adequate size. The place was clean. The staff member that gave me the tour was very nice and very friendly.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

My dad has been in Spring Haven since last year. He's in a big unit, but they promised us a studio within a month and we still have not gotten it. Other than that, I love that facility. I've been pleased with his care, and he's happy there. I just need them to help me more on the financial side of it.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

My mother is in Spring Haven Retirement. So far, everything's fine. They seem to check on her. Right now, no complaints. The staff members are very friendly. The grounds are really nice, and they keep them well-manicured. They have a pool. The food is pretty good. I live in the next town, so this is a good location for us. The rooms are pretty good. Right now, they're doing some renovation in the hallways, and the ceilings are kind of messed up until they get all the water pipes. She goes down for meals, and she walks down and talks to people. They keep the residents active if you want to be active. The pricing is OK.

Spring Haven Retirement is a great place and offers everything that we want. Dollar-wise, it was very competitive. If there was anything negative, the people were just not too excited about the food. The rooms are great, good sized, had appropriate carpeting, the kitchens were well-done, and they were very nice. They also had a pool.

Spring Haven Retirement is filthy, and I feel sorry for the people who have to live there. The people were sitting at the lobby with nothing to do, the carpet was as dirty as if you had it in your garage, with oil and grease, and it was absolutely terrible. The staff looked like they came from the hood, walking around and joking. There was no professionalism at all.

I was not impressed with Spring Haven Retirement. The lady that helped us and who showed us the place was very friendly and very informative, but I felt it was old. I was not impressed with the elevators since they were not clean. I was not impressed, although it offered a lot of amenities and activities. I thought that was good. The dining rooms were OK.

I wasn't that impressed with Spring Haven Retirement because it was too large. The tour was very good except that it was such a massive place with so much going on. I'd get confused in there with all the commotion going on. I didn't feel at home. The person who showed me around was very nice but was also the only person I really met.

I would go to Spring Haven. I liked the layout. It was clean, and the hallways were wide. The rooms were priced right. The staff was very friendly. I was most interested in the size of their rooms and the location. Everything pleased me. The room had a kitchen and a bathroom, looked bright and sunny, and were much bigger than what other places had to offer.
