Description of New Horizon North

New Horizon North is nestled in a quiet neighborhood in the city of Tamarac just 2 miles from the Everglades and right near several golf clubs and lots of shopping opportunities. Tamarac is home to more than 60,000 people, 16% of whom are aged 65 and over.

New Horizon North is a nursing home. It's located in a residential neighborhood and has the capacity for six residents. With a more intimate style of living, seniors may expect a more personalized form of care. Assistance is available for common activities, including preparing food, personal hygiene and housekeeping. More intensive care for those who aren't mostly independent is, however, not available.

New Horizon North offers several amenities that are designed to make life more comfortable and convenient for residents. Seniors here can enjoy everything from letting their dogs play at Gary B Jones Dog Park to having a nice meal with friends in one of the areas many restaurants. Transportation to local medical appointments and other destinations in the area is available.
