The Preserve at Palm Aire was very nice. Everything seemed to be a la carte. You have to pay for your pills. It looked like Club Med to me, which was nice. It's more like a resort. It's beautiful, the rooms are beautiful, and they have a nice big parking lot in the front. Everybody was nice. They have a swimming pool. The rooms were very nice, but they were small.
My dad moved into The Preserve at Palm Aire. It's very nice and I'm very pleased with the layout. The reception person at the front desk is very pleasant, helpful, and resourceful. They really presented a good feel for me and made me comfortable with what they had to offer, especially the type of apartment, the needs that my dad has, and the possibility of transitioning to the other services that are there. The food was good and actually had flavor. I was impressed. They cater as much as possible to the population that lives there. My dad goes to the gym, which is good. I'm very pleased with the new resident orientation, which gives them the chance to learn about the place and get around on their own. The dining seating is a little tricky if you're a new person and you're trying to get to know others. The price is reasonable.
The people at The Preserve at Palm Aire were personable, even just from talking to them. They're one of the friendliest out of the places that I talked to, they answered more than just one-word answers, elaborated, and asked me questions. When we got there, it was the only place that asked questions about my father and his background. The rooms are very nice and spacious and they have great closet space. They have a daily list of calendars that you can go down and get for the month of all the activities and different things going on within the place. The food is good and they're currently working on it. They have a new chef that just started.
The Preserve at Palm Aire is beautiful, very clean, and in a good area. The staff is very friendly and super nice. You walk in the front door and it looks like you're walking into a mansion with a winding staircase. They have their own shuttle bus and they take you wherever you want to go. I'm really happy with the place. The menu is out of this world and the dining room is beautiful, with linen napkins, nice linen tablecloths, and beautiful silverware. It's like walking into a fancy restaurant.
Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We are so thrilled we are able to meet and exceed your expectations. Let us know if there is anything else we can do for you!
The Preserve at Palm Aire seems very nice and the staff is really pleasant. Some staff-members are more friendly than others, but so far things are good. Up until tonight the food was good because I didn't enjoy tonight's meal, although that's just a matter of taste. I have a lovely apartment, and so far so good because I'm satisfied. They're also pet-friendly.
The Preserve at Palm Aire had somebody available for me at the appointment time. They all of the literature and were able to answer all of my questions. I toured the facility and was able to speak with some of the residents. I was able to see the residents interacting; they weren't just sitting there. I was looking at private rooms that were immaculate and a little bit on the small side but acceptable.
The Preserve at Palm Aire is very nice. The staff members are all OK. The dining room service is very slow, but they said they're working on it. The food is excellent; that's why we chose this place. We're in the independent living, so the services are minimal. Our room is great and has two bedrooms and a balcony. It's not the exact apartment that I wanted, but it is close enough. It has a refrigerator and a stove. For activities, they offer everything.
My mom was at The Preserve at Palm Aire. It was very nice. We liked it. Everything was good. The staff members were good. They were attentive and they were familiar with the residents. My mom didn't really participate into any activities, but they did have a lot of them. They had buses that took them on trips. Her room was very nice with a good view. She had a full kitchen. The food was good and there were a lot of choices. The facilities were very good. I would like to go back there, but they're not Medicaid. I think they're very expensive. The main thing is it's month-by-month, there's no equity or commitment, but that's good.
I was impressed with the apartments at The Preserve at Palm Aire. They had two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, washer and dryer, a balcony, and they were spacious. Once a week, they have a cleaning service. The lady who assisted me during the tour was very nice. They take the residents to the casinos.
The Preserve at Palm Aire was very bright and friendly. People looked like they were having a good time. The room we saw was a very roomy junior suite. The location was very good and convenient, and the grounds were well kept. Everybody was laughing and having a good time. They gave us a calendar of all their events, and it seemed like they were busy. They can do as much or as little as they want. The place looked very nice and clean. The rooms were bright, the public rooms looked very nice and clean, and the windows were clean.
The Preserve at Palm Aire was very well maintained and clean. The landscaping was absolutely gorgeous. It looked like a luxury hotel inside the courtyard. The grounds were nice and peaceful. The staff was very friendly, outgoing, accommodating, and seemed very interested in welcoming potential new residents. I liked their 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartments for me and my friend because there's more space when sharing and it's less expensive. The single ones were a little small. Their food was really good.
The Preserve at Palm Aire is very lovely and nice. They have nice apartments, good dining hours, a pool, and great staff. I enjoyed being there. The residents are a little bit older than me and not quite as active. The food is very good and very restaurant-like. They have a lot of activities with something going on all the time.
The overall experience at The Preserve at Palm-Aire was excellent. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The physicians on-site are thorough and have been very helpful to my mom in giving her some good guidance with regard to some of the issues that she has. There are a lot of good activities and a lot of opportunities to socialize. It's very clean. The food is not tops, but it's pretty good. She's very happy there.
The Preserve at Palm Aire was very nice and big. There was a lot of walking because there were several different buildings. They had music and other activities.
Arriving at The Preserve at Palm Arie feels relaxed and pleasent. The scenery is colorful and tropical. The administrative and nursing staff is professional and informative. It's important to them to stay current on ways to maintain the longevity of the seniors. The facility itself is maintained well and cleaned. The activities keep the seniors active and knowledgeable on how to have an healthy lifestyle. The food is average and could be more flavorful.
Upon arriving at Preserve At Palm Aire in Pompano Beach, Fl. I was greeted by Lisa, the pleasant receptionist at the front desk. She introduced me to Sharon, the Marketing Coordinator. Sharon was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, and took me on a tour of a 1 bedroom that she explained could be personalized with the resident’s own furniture. The model 1 bedroom was bright, airy, clean, and inviting. As we continued the tour Sharon addressed every senior we encountered by name. All areas we passed through were clean and clutter free. The community had just been recently renovated and they did a spectacular job. I give this property a five on their excellent staff!
The staff here is amazingly helpful, informative and kind. They helped make this difficult transition for me and my family member easy, stress free and comforting. There's always someone available to talk with when Any of us have any questions. We haven't encountered any concerns in the time we've been here, and that's fantastic! I very highly recommend The Preserve at Palm Aire!
This used to be a wonderful, warm and happy place. Leisure care took over the facility in June and it now feels more like an institution. There are very few social activities for the residents, the dining room is a complete disaster from the quality and quantity of the food to the depressing atmosphere. When my mother first went to the Perserve the residents called it "paradise". You will not hear that anymore. The new management is all about the money. When it was Brookdale the management team knew all the residents. Now they stay in their offices. When one of the residents tried to speak with the general manager in the hall he was told she didn't have time. It is heartbreaking this really special place has lost its sparkle. When all the old staff left (and they ALL did leave) they took the love with them. I would not recommend The Preserve at this time. Just speak to the residents.
Dear Claudia, As the Operations Director for The Preserve, please allow me to apologize for any negative perceptions that you have for the changes that are occurring at the community. I understand that change is difficult but it is Leisure Care's intent to make The Preserve the great community it once was. We are committed to improving the lifestyle and to renovating throughout the building. Since May 17 when Leisure Care took over, we have filled all management positions with a highly qualified team of people. Some of these managers stayed on following the transition, some were employees who got promotions and some were brought on new. There are new faces trying to get to know the residents, learn the community and implement improvements all simultaneously. There was a period in June where the activities decreased. This is not our typical operation. We pride ourselves on offering a robust lifestyle full of choices. July has started to see the programming return and there is even more to come. Some of the improvements we have begun include having all carpets throughout the building professionally cleaned, landscaping improvements, replacing the twenty-five year old roof and having plans drawn up to for renovations. We have tried to communicate our direction to residents through verbal interactions and written communications. I regret that we have not made a great first impression on you. My hope is that our actions moving forward will prove that we are an organization that prides itself on relationships and high standards. I welcome the opportunity to speak to you, Claudia. You can reach me through the community. Sincerely, Michael Sturm
