Description of Palms Edge Assisted Living and Memory Care
Palms Edge Assisted Living and Memory Care is a 65-bed community offering assisted living and memory care services. We have a highly trained, experienced staff and activities designed with memory care in mind. Our goal is for your loved one to benefit from the latest treatments in Alzheimer's and dementia. The programs we provide help diminish anxiety, lessen confusion and disorientation. We maintain a high care-giver to resident ratio in order to provide personalized care.
Our care is designed to exceed expectations, rather than simply meet a need. We strive to maintain the independence, dignity and well-being of our seniors. We encourage you to take a tour and meet our staff, see our community and even have lunch with us. We are staffed 24 hours day, offer a variety of activities, and are experts in memory care. Our staff is highly trained in dementia and Alzheimer's care. We also hold advanced care licenses such as Limited Nursing Services.

I visited this facility
Palms Edge Assisted Living and Memory Care was a really beautiful, clean facility. The staff was on point. I saw a lot of interaction. The kitchens were immaculate. I was interested in single occupancy, and its amenities looked pretty good. The small studio had beautiful windows and a lot of light.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My sister resided at Palms Edge for a few months. The staff was very friendly. Everything was nice and clean. The food was wonderful because they have a chef making their food. They have a nurse there, her name is Juanita, and she's the best.

I visited this facility
The rooms at Palms Edge were average. When you walk in, you'll see their dining room and activity room, and then on both sides are hallways. There are sitting areas outside but it's locked so that Alzheimer's and dementia patients can't get out. They also have a gathering-type room, and overall the place is OK. It's just not in the best location with regards to things like crime. The staff member was also nice and very friendly. They have a pool table, books, a TV room, and different rooms for activities where they group the residents based on capacity. I appreciate this because you wouldn't want the mentally alert to be with the residents with no faculties in them.
