I visited this facility
We chose Brookdale Canopy Oaks. The apartments are very well-kept. They have an activity room for arts and crafts. The dining area was very nice. The staff is very nice and friendly. The place is very nice and pleasant.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
We are very satisfied with the care from all of the caregivers at Brookdale Canopy Oaks. The whole staff is excellent and my parents like the food and the church service. They like it there very much. However, their accounting is very confusing as far as the paperwork. Other than that, everyone's happy there.

I visited this facility
Brookdale Canopy Oaks would've been the best facility to go to because it was walking distance from where we live, but they had a $1,500 move-in fee, which we can pay over three months. Then, the guy offered us a fee of $3,400 a month, and we had to buy it right away. We had to have a December 1st move-in date, but this was back in October, so we would have to pay for November 1st and December 1st and then we had to pay for where she was currently staying. So, we would pay for two units, and she wouldn't be in one of them. Last week, they came by and offered a month and a half of rent free, but we have already moved on. It was modern and newer, but the cost was too high to move in. The staff was good. The room was big enough for two people to be in the room, with enough closet space, and modern toilets. We visited the memory care portion of it.
