The best way to get to know a community is by scheduling a tour. See the facilities, meet the staff and residents, and get a feel first hand what it's like to live at Florida Presbyterian Homes Assisted Living.
My husband and I moved into this facility in July 2008, mainly because my mother had lived here, and we knew the care she had received was excellent. We were snowbirds, from Northern IL,and after he retired from flying for American Airlines, we bought a home in FL, for the winter months. We live in a two bedroom apartment, completely independent. We get a dinner at noon, and our small kitchen takes care of breakfast, plus a snack at night. He died over two years ago, and I am alone at 90. We have plenty of activities, that we took advantage of when we could.
