Lake Forest Park was great. The director was really helpful and professionaI. I really liked what I saw. I've gotten feedback from a resident there that the food wasn't good, and my mom has a very particular diet. They have a lot of activities. It's a smaller community and I personally like that because it seemed like there'd be a lot of individualized attention. I liked the size of the main units that were in the main buildings, and I really liked the individual independent living units around the lake.

Lake Forest Park was nice. The person who was supposed to show us around was knowledgeable, but she was 30 minutes late. The independent living area was in separate houses called villas. They were nice, but you'd have to be very independent to stay there. My first impression of the place was that it felt homey and nice.

I like Lake Forest. The location is very nice and right off the main road. The place itself was very clean and very nice. Out of all the places, it was the most reasonable. However, I need something that I could put two people in. From what I saw, the staff was very caring, friendly, and accommodating. As a matter of fact, they emailed me some information. The rooms were very clean and very nice. They have bus trips, picnics to the beach, and movie theaters. They also have a bunch of in-house activities.

I Am A Past Client Of This Provider

As for the "Assisted Living" section of the entity. Nursing staff is inconsistant, understaffed, Some do not speak english, most dont have cna but a loophole med tech certificate. The dining chairs are horrible. The communication is an obvious issue there. Hurricane Irma, construction, the ED is short tempered and thinks of them as numbers for even a dying person she will refuse help for as long as it means they dont get admitted to the hospital. Some of the nurses staff are really good but most aren't and the activity personel who also go above and beyond. Other than that goodluck. Oh and watch where you sit in the dining room. :

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

My friend is at Lake Forest Park and so far everything is going well. We chose it because of the location and the fact that everyone was extremely professional. The food is where I think some improvement could be made. I would recommend them.

Lake Forest Park was very nice, and the price was good. There were individual duplexes that were very nice, very modern, up-to-date, and clean. There was a one-car garage, open concept living area, a screened-in porch, and updated granite kitchen countertops. Everything was really clean and neat. They had their own clubhouse in the independent living area. I was invited to go any time they have a function so I can get a feel of the neighbors and the place. The staff was very friendly, efficient, and very knowledgeable about the area. They had dinner dances, get-togethers, a pool, an exercise room, and a nice kitchen area where you can prepare meals.

I did like Lake Forest Park. They had little cottages which had two bedrooms and that attracted me. They had a combination parlor and dining room and a kitchen. It's roomy. It was like a regular home, not a home that you send someone to when they're in the way or they're just too sick to take care of themselves. I liked the people, they were very welcoming. I got along with them. It isn't just people who were sick. The meals seemed good, we saw a menu. I liked the fact that there was a lake there because I was always surrounded by water. They had everything you could think of, like board games and they even took trips. I liked the friendliness of the people and the little things for me, like the forest park.

Lake Forest was very nice. We viewed the rooms and we took a tour of the whole facility. It had bingo some days, crafts another day, exercises, and TV room.

I Am A Current/Past Resident

Having lived at Lake Forest Park for 10 years, I am very happy and feel lucky to be here. It is a very pretty place and the staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is good. Living here is like belonging to a huge family; we all get along great. I don't have to cook and clean anymore, so I am getting lazy and fat! I never thought I'd live to see that! I am grateful each day! The staff is always courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Dining and housekeeping staff are always cheerful, conscientious and highly, highly efficient. It is a pleasure seeing the staff smiling and keeping us happy and content. Our activities are varied, with something for everyone. We all enjoy participating in the activities.
