Description of Silverado Oak Village
Tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood, Silverado Oak Village provides residential memory care services to Wisconsin seniors challenged by Alzheimer's and memory loss. Located just northwest of Milwaukee in Menomonee Falls, our community offers relaxed, suburban living in a bigger city.
The skilled, compassionate memory care professionals at Silverado are dedicated to providing residents with the dignity and care they deserve while they enjoy the community's warm atmosphere. Comfortable surroundings and engagement activities designed with the needs of memory-impaired individuals in mind help ensure the goal of enriching the lives of both residents and their families.
At Silverado Oak Village, we understand that caring for a loved one with dementia can be challenging, which is why we offer a number of services for family members. From monthly support groups to respite care to a full-time Social Worker on site, we have the resources in place to help guide families through this journey.
Family and friends are also welcome to join us for meals, free of charge, in our community dining room. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are prepared fresh daily in our community kitchen by our Master Chef. There is also a private dining area available for celebrating special occasions.
Our experienced team of caregivers is made up of a board-certified physician Medical Director, a full-time Registered Nurse serving as our Director of Health Services and a licensed nurse on site for every shift providing 24 hours of care.
As a way to recruit and retain high-quality staff, Silverado Oak Village allows team members to bring their children with them to work each day. This provides not only cherished interactions between children and seniors but also helps us keep our employee turnover rate low.
