I Visited This Facility

Sagebrook at Bellevue has multiple buildings and the place seemed like it was older. The one thing I didn't care for was that my dad would have to go outside to the building next door to be able to have his meal, so that didn't appeal to me. The person who gave us the tour was really good. I appreciated all of her time. The dining area is not very big for a large community. It didn't seem like it could accommodate all the people, but it looked OK.

Sagebrook at Bellevue had multiple buildings and the place seemed older. The one thing I didn't care for was that my dad would have to go to a different building outside to be able to have his meal, so that didn't appeal to me. The person who gave us the tour was really good, and I appreciated all of her time. The dining area was not as big as other places. For a large community it doesn't seem like it could accommodate all the people, but it looked OK.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

I placed my husband at Sagebrook, and he's in the memory care section. It's very pleasing aesthetically, and everybody is very nice, but there is a lack of communication between staff members. I still have a lot of paperwork, and I don't think that information gets passed on to the actual caregivers. I feel like they need to make some changes in how they help the loved one understand what they can and cannot do, and I'm learning the hard way now. The parking lot is too small, but other than that it's fine. The dining facility where he is is very small, but the one in assisted living is beautiful, and well presented. There are residents who play games and others who sit outside in a beautiful garden and beautiful landscaped area. It's very peaceful there.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

Crossroads Retirement Center is not only a beautiful facility, but ideally located in Bellevue and easy to get to. I visited on a day when it was raining quite hard and as soon as I walked through the door, two staff members were there to help me with my coat and a towel to dry off; I forgot my umbrella, so I was soaked. As always the staff was excellent. I found my way to my resident; she told me she had just got back from the drug store. Crossroads Retirement Center offers a shuttle to take their residents shopping, and she said she and a couple of her friends had been taking walks to one of the local parks. It is nice seeing her keep an active lifestyle, I like that she has safe travels to and from. We sat in the dining room, and it is very pleasant, there were a few others doing the same. A set of gentlemen was off in the corner laughing. I had a bowl of soup and cup of tea. It was good as always, I have eaten a few times and never disappointed. My resident resides in one bedroom; it is the perfect size for her and comes with a full kitchen and good sized bathroom. Crossroads have done a good job with their apartments. Her apartment equipped with an emergency system for added safety. A great feature and a must for peace of mind. She also loves that she doesn’t have to do laundry, as there is a full laundry facility on site. She does on occasion use the weekly housekeeping; this was great while she recovered from her knee surgery. The combination of excellent staff, quality apartments, community feel and all the fun activities she absolutely loves, gives her the chance to live a productive life, filled with activities and fun and me peace of mind that she is safe. I truly enjoy visiting my resident and getting to see everyone, sometimes it takes a minute to get all the hugs and stories they have to tell me but I enjoy each and every visit and staff member.
