I Visited This Community
East Riverside Drive in Bothell is clean, inviting, and well maintained. Some of the furnishings need updating but overall very clean. I enjoyed walking around the grounds; it is not a large property, but there are several nice areas to sit and enjoy the outdoors. I like that is right next door to North shore Senior Center making it very convenient for residents. The surrounding neighborhood offers access to stores, restaurants, all within a short distance from Riverside Drive. The activity calendar was disappointing; each week is very similar and each day only a few options for residents to choose from. There wasn’t much activity going on when I visited mainly residents sitting around, there were a few ladies sitting and knitting. From what I saw the week includes a shopping trip and a few exercise classes, plus daily TV, movies, and treats. A few other options like games, trivia, and a weekly visit to the beauty salon, but overall there wasn’t many events offered. I asked about their Evergreen Brain Vitality Program and I wasn’t provided much information from the staff member I spoke with. I would like to see this program more in depth. I haven’t personally eaten there myself but I was provided a tour of the kitchen and some samples they were good the residents like the food. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the dining room. Coffee and snacks are also offered throughout the day. The dining room was nice and the menu had a good selection for the day. There is a good number of staff available to support residents with daily activities. The apartments I toured were quite nice and good sized. Bathrooms were equipped for resident safety. The outdoor area, however, needed improving of the landscaping and was in need of some minor maintenance work. On my visit, the grassy areas were overgrown and there were weeds where the flowers should be. Usually housekeeping, laundry, and medical transportation are covered, pets are welcome. This is a nice facility but a lacking on the activities. The staff was busy but could have been friendlier. I would have liked to see more interaction from the staff with the residents.

Riverside East is a quaint and small Assisted Living Community located next to the Northshore Senior Center...great location close to down town Bothell. Nice apartments, long term staff....General Manager has been there since the Community opened! Have acess to Senior Center and all their activities. Friendly staff.

Our deluxe accommodations come in a selection of four apartment floor plans: studio, studio/alcove, one-bedroom and two-bedroom. All of our apartment homes feature full kitchens, wall-to-wall carpeting, private bathrooms, ample storage space and are pet-friendly.
Residents of Riverside East enjoy a number of convenient on-site amenities including access to our activity center, wellness center, brain vitality center, free parking, beauty salon/barbershop and resident piano. We also schedule a number of fun activities each day such as daily exercise classes, happy hour, movie screenings and group games.
Available Services
Three meals per day are served in our community dining room through our Choice Dining Anytime program. Meals are prepared fresh on-site daily and include both hot and cold selections as well as a tableside salad selection. Coffee, snacks and fresh-baked treats are also available throughout the day as well.
With our assisted living program, residents never have to worry about moving should their care needs change over time. We have certified, licensed staff on-site at our community 24 hours a day to provide assistance with life's daily activities in the comfort and privacy of home.
