The atmosphere is nice here. The facility is set in a good location and surrounded by a plush, green lawn. The courtyard is a nice place to sit out on a sunny day. Inside, the atmosphere is clean and comfortable. There are seating areas throughout, and many seniors were sitting around reading, talking, and watching people move about the facility. The facility is not very large, and the smaller number of residents adds to a more family-like feel. A few of the residents had pets, but not everyone. The rooms were comfortable, and there are a few options to choose from in floor plans. There are also other amenities such as an exercise room and therapy room. Movie and game night happen here regularly, but there was not much variety in activities. There also should be more amenities. Still, the residents seemed happy and satisfied, and everyone was friendly. Mealtime here consist of menu options and tableside service. The food was not magnificent, but it was healthy. I also like that they have fruit options for dessert. There didn’t seem to be a lot of excitement and motivation from the staff, but the staff members were assisting the residents during mealtime. Some of the staff members also escorted the residents back to their rooms. The residents are really nice and friendly at this facility. They communicate with each other and appear to be like family. This is not high end living, but this is a comfortable home. The amenities and healthcare here are adequate for the needs of the residents. Overall, this is a good facility. There are moderate activities here and healthy food served and prepared on site. The facility is clean, organized, and functional. The staff assist the residents with activities of daily living, medication reminders, and social interaction. For seniors that may need extra motivation to remain active, this may not be your facility choice. The facility is comfortable and laid back in a manner that allows the residents to do what they desire without outside motivation. This may be great for some residents, but for residents who need encouragement to participate and be active, I would opt for a more interactive facility. Nevertheless, this facility is affordably price and provides good care.

Wood Glen Court is the average assisted living facility, I didn't find anything on my visit that set it apart from others. Some of the staff seemed disengaged and not really connected with the residents. This facility would be a good choice if you are looking for a staff with general knowledge, clean living areas, and caring management. Overall the facility is modern, clean, well planned menus, and they have moderate activities for their residents.
