I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

My mother-in-law is in Landing at Watermere. We chose it because it is close to us, and they have extended care, which she needs. They have all kinds of activities. They have people come in and play some music. They have cook outs. They have different kinds of entertainments. They can go on a bus and go places, but she cannot do that. There are all kinds of activities going on daily. However, there have been some problems with the room that she is in. The door railing falls off. For paying $6,000, that should not happen. The little refrigerator is frozen, and that should not happen. They have trouble with the toilet, and that should not happen. Now, they have trouble with the air-conditioning, and that should not happen. However, it is beautiful, clean, and nice. The staff seems to be friendly and helpful. They take her to the doctor's appointments. There is also a doctor on staff. They are serving all 3 meals.

I loved Landing at Watermere, but it was way out of our price range. You have to have two oil wells to live there. The staff was very friendly and professional. It's very elegant.

Landing at Watermere was fine and very well maintained. The people living were having lunch in a dining room where they were very comatose; nobody was talking. However, they were taken care of, nicely dressed, and clean. It was just that. The food was not too bad. It did not have the activity level that I would want.

This continuum of care is beautiful with matured landscaping and a large courtyard with walking paths. The activities are stimulating and appropriate for all residents. They offer several programs to promote wellness and the care team is average. The community on a whole is large and open with a hotel feel. The apartments are updated with a variety of floor plans. This community offers a variety of options for several levels of care. This is a great age in place community. The first impressions staff could improve on friendliness but overall this community is great!
