I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident
My mom is living in Elmcroft of Windcrest. The staff is really good and very helpful. They have lots of activities like Bingo and word games. They have a nice square in the middle with trees and flowers. The pricing is pretty good. The food is very good and their staff was recommended for a Michelin star.

This facility is clean, well-designed, and offers good memory care. Elmcroft of Windcrest is an assisted living facility that offers memory care, occupational therapy, and great activities. When I visited this facility, I was looking for an assistant living facility where the residents and staff were friendly. Most of the staff were friendly; however, there were a few workers who passed in the hallway without greeting. Still, the residents were nice. Most of the residents were smiling and happy which is a good indication of a family-friendly environment. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and two women greeted me the moment I entered the building. I did not receive information immediately concerning the facility, and was told to come back. The person I needed to see was not available. Although I was a little disappointed, I was understanding, especially since the staff were polite. The food was hot and average tasting. I had baked fish which was a little bland. Nevertheless, the menu offers a lot of variety, great desserts, and drinks. The dining room is open, clean, and grand. Moreover, the servers are moving constantly to assure everyone has what is needed. During my visit, dinner became a little Chaotic when one of the residents became confused and spilled her meal. The resident was immediately assisted, and eventually resumed dinner. Activities are at the forefront of this facility. Variety is offered, and the activities represented the diverse personalities of the residents. Bingo is big here, but there are also parties, movie night, and off site trips that keep these seniors upbeat. The activities and amenities are adequate. Furthermore, the residents appear to be engaged. Most of the residents seem to be somewhat independent. The residents using wheelchairs maneuvered themselves, but a few had to wait as the caregivers took them back to their rooms one by one. The facility is not large, and staff are able to give individualized attention at times. This is a smaller facility than some, but there is still not a low ratio. Seniors who need moderate assistance with housekeeping, activities of daily living, and social interactive should consider this assisted living home.

Elmcroft Windcrest is a modern senior community. It's very beautiful on the inside and out! Some of the staff members were standing around and talking among themselves, not interacting with the residents. However, other staff and management didn't seem to mind so this may have been routine. O participated in a game of Bingo with the residents and really enjoyed myself! Overall, the community was clean and the residents seemed happy.
