Great facility for memory care. This is a high-end facility with a moderate price tag. For residents needing memory therapy, this a one of the best facilities that I have found. Occupational therapy, memory activities, and social activities assist residents in gaining confidence and retaining skills. The facility has physical activities and programs to provide an optimal quality of living for their residents. When I visited Colonial Oaks at West chase Memory Care, I was greeted by a friendly staff member and impressed by a clean, well-maintained facility. When taken on a tour, I noticed that this facility has an outstanding concierge service that contains everything from a beauty parlor to housekeeping. However, most of the concierge services are offered for an extra fee. There is transportation here, but it is for an extra fee as well. The facility is located in a very nice area. The residents were nice, but some of them were not very friendly. The building was clean, organized, and open. Still, the environment seemed to lack some of the warmth I was looking for in a residential facility for my loved one. I did enjoy the hot, tasty meal that was prepared, and I feel that the upscale ambience throughout the Colonial Oaks was second to none. The activities here includes something for even the most introverted resident. There were parties scheduled, game day, and evening a Sunday service. Although there are a lot of activities here, this is not a “busy” place. The atmosphere is somewhat quiet, and this facility is best suited for residents who are traditional, laid back, and like pets. Also, residents who enjoy nice meals, light social activities and are moderately independent will enjoy living here. The location of this facility is busy. It is not a place where you will feel comfortable walking long distances, but it is located near everything. Lots of restaurants within one mile, a large country club, and medical center nearby. Also, transportation available when residents need a change of scenery. Nice staff members, great food, and great care. The people here are helpful, and this is a good place to call home for seniors looking for memory care.

I visited this community once before. Walked in to a friendly clean environment. Receptionist was very nice and the staff was very helpful and nice. The caregivers were very hands on with patients and provided the patients with assisting them with bathing, meal preparation, grooming, companionship. They were very nice and seemed like they cared about the patients well being. They do activities with the patients and make sure the patients are involved. A great community overall. Everyone was friendly and helpful.
