Casa Felicitas is a good assisted living facility. This is a small resident-to-caregiver ratio because the resident population is very small. The facility is located off the main road, near restaurants, shops, and a park. The facility is well-maintained and clean inside and around the property. I really like the amenities and the common areas in the facility. There are small seating areas for the resident to enjoy reading, socializing, or experiencing the outdoors. I also liked the dining area and décor. The services here range from therapeutic memory care, to occupational and physical care. I especially like the memory care because the staff provides one on one attention to the residents using various methods of mental stimulation. I was at this facility with a friend, and his family member. The staff explained to my friend how memory therapy takes place. This is a great facility for memory care because the workers are attentive. I reviewed the menu, and there seems to be much variety. The meals are served hot to residents three times daily. The facility is not very large or grand, but it is clean and the atmosphere is warm. The cost is moderate, and due to the size of the population, very competitive. There are activities on and off site, and the residents had just had a holiday party before my visit. There are also movie nights and game days at the facility. The residents are kept active, and I was told that the staff do a great job in making sure that the seniors participate and remain active and social. The pace is slow at this facility, and it is a family environment. If your loved one is an extremely active senior who plays golf regularly and have frequent dance parties, there are other facilities that may be more suitable. However, for seniors who need extra attention, enjoy moderate activities, and thrive in a calm environment, Casa Felicitas may be your choice. Seniors here walk around and appear to be somewhat independent, but there were a few who need more assistance than others. Personable care is offered here.
