I Visited This Facility

Autumn Leaves of Stone Oak was the one I liked the most. It was really pretty inside and the nicest. People still had access to the outdoors whereas some places you can't go outdoors unless someone goes with you. Here, it's internal and people can see you from inside with all the windows. It's not like you're by yourself. The caregivers can still see that you're there, that you haven't wandered off. I liked that they had three or four different wings. Each wing is kind of small, so people just need to go into their wing and to the main area. Some facilities were bigger and someone that has Alzheimer's or dementia is going to get lost in them. They just seemed really nice and they had a lot of different rooms for watching TV and couple of different eating areas. It was the most expensive though. Everyone there was really nice. I talked to a number of people there who were very friendly.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

Staff works very hard to accommodate all levels of dementia. They constantly try to engage (successfully mostly!)my father in activities which helps tremendously. The food satisfies my Dad and they do a great job of engaging family members in activities. They seem to be very busy all the time, which is great for residents, but means that families sometimes need to catch them on the fly. I have great confidence about their oversight of my father's care.

This is a small and intimate facility which offers excellent care for the residents. It is new and well appointed and the staff is very caring and professional. The residents have many activities that they are encouraged to participate in and entertainment to enjoy. The meals are well planned and prepared. Family members are welcome anytime and there are many social activities that family members are encouraged to attend. This is a caring and safe environment that sets one's mind at ease as to the quality of life your family member is experiencing daily.

All of the employees are very caring and friendly. They are always very, very busy and I think they could use a little more help because they are always giving 200%.
