I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

I first took my wife to Autumn Leaves for day care. Several times, when I picked her up in the evening, she would tell me, "I just had a wonderful day, today." When the time came for her go into full time care, this is why I put her in Autumn Leaves. She easily made the adjustment and I have never been disappointed with her care. In fact, it seems to improve all the time. The Director is easy to talk to and takes all questions or concerns seriously. I see all of the staff people and particularly the caregivers and the activities lady show so much kindness and caring for the residents. I never worry about the care for my wife. I eat lunch with her about 2 days a week and find the meals wholesome, ordinary food that is prepared very tastefully. The entire facilities are always very clean and seem to be constantly being cleaned...there is never unpleasant odors there.

When seeking memory care for a loved one, you deserve more than just having basic needs satisfied. There should also be comfort and compassionate care that offers encouragement with daily activities and support when necessary. Set on a tree-lined boulevard in Spring, Autumn Leaves of Cypresswood provides just that, while also offering a convenient location near Methodist Willowbrook Hospital and St. Luke's Hospital at the Vintage.

Being the best and preferred memory care provider for families needing quality care for a loved one is our mission at Autumn Leaves. Our company owes its origins to two families who were driven to provide care to seniors with memory impairment. Featured Amenities

Autumn Leaves of Cypresswood is designed from the ground up with the needs of those with Alzheimer's and dementia in mind. From the abundant natural lighting, warm and inviting décor to our wide hallways, we provide a nurturing environment. The centerpiece of our community is a secure courtyard, allowing our residents freedom to enjoy the outdoors and reconnect with nature.

Our residents enjoy wholesome meals from scratch, including only the freshest meats, seafood and produce. Because mealtime is so integral to social interaction, we also encourage family members to join their loved one for a complimentary meal.

Available Services

At Autumn Leaves of Cypresswood, we focus our care and activities around six principles of engagement: Artistic expression, physical activity, spiritual support, community connections, continuing education and lifestyle and leisure. Our holistic approach nurtures the whole person by encouraging interpersonal connection and engaging the residents physically and mentally. For example, residents might enjoy board games with friends, puzzles or reminiscing over the events of their lifetime.

As one of the nation's leading dementia care providers, you can have the confidence that your loved one will receive the care she needs. Our licensed nurses are on site seven days a week to supervise care plans and provide support. Like our nurses, all staff members receive special training on how to interact and support those with dementia.
