I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

My parents have been in Greenville Place for less than two months. So far, it has been good. They have been very kind to us. It's a good location because it is right off Pelham Road and easy to get to. The place is clean, and it's a nice community. They have a courtyard with porches that they can sit on and other seating areas around. They didn't have the two-bedroom with a kitchennette, so my parents are in a one-room, but we were able to put two recliners and a full-size bath. There's my mom's hospital bed, a small desk, a television, two nice closets, and a small refrigerator. It's sufficient for what we need for them. The food is good, too.

I Visited This Facility

Greenville Place was nice, but the rooms were very small. That was the determining factor to not put my mom there. I noticed some folks doing activities. Their facilities and the people there were nice. They had a separate place to hang out, play cards, and things like that, so it was nice. When I went there, the lady I was supposed to see wasn't there, so someone else gave me the tour. She did a good job.

I Visited This Facility

I had a brief visit at Greenville Place. It seemed like a nice, clean facility, but didn't seem quite as spacious. They seemed to have activities in the regular part of the home, but I'd like to see more activities in the memory care unit.

Greenville Place was too large for my mother and they did not have the independent living facilities that we were looking for. The rooms were nice and the director was nice, but she was a little unorganized and her office was very chaotic. The residents and the staff members were friendly. I saw an activity room, but no particular activities.

My mother has been with Greenville for two months. The place and the people are good. We had some issues, but they had worked them out very well. My mother likes the food and there's a lot of activities that they do. Overall, it's a positive environment.

Greenville Place is a very nice place. The food seems to be really good, and everything appears to be tasty. They have very good amenities there, but the medical and CNA staff isn’t as good as we wish they were.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

We’ve placed my mother in Greenville Place. It’s a single story and probably 25 years old. The interior is laid out in an open series of areas with rooms in between. She’s only been there for six weeks, but everyone is tremendously helpful. They have a nurse’s station. She’s in physical/occupational therapy, and they have a lot of different types of activities that they do for the seniors. They have bingo and religious services and arrange occasional day trips. The dining area is very nice. They vary the food day to day, and it seems to be very sufficient. We looked at several facilities, but this one seemed to be the best for her.

Greenville Place has friendly and courteous staff. They let me know what’s going on and give me feedback. They call me if there are any issues. The residents watch TV, have devotions, and do bingo and other games that stimulate their minds. The dining area is appropriate and spacious with enough tables and chairs and space for wheelchairs, so that’s good. It’s a two-person room with a bed, night stand, dresser, and their own closet.

I Visited This Community

Greenville Place was great. They had started to remodel, and it will look even better when they are done. They were very informative and helpful. We did not see the activities, but we saw the walking areas and the outside areas where there were opportunities to walk. The rooms were very spacious and had a shower in the room. The dining area was very nice and adequate.
